Birth is transformational & you are built to birth your baby

With extensive training on pregnancy, birth, and postpartum — a doula is equipped to support families emotionally and physically in all birthing locations.

PREGNANCY & BIRTH

Prepare for birth as early as you find out. There are many unknowns that build fear surrounding birth, so I will walk through how to clear your fears so you go into labor and birth feeling ready.

There are so many books and resources out there and my job is to make you feel at ease, provide birth education, and help make you feel empowered in the decisions and options available to you.

LABOR & BIRTH

Birth is so much about mindset and surrounding yourself with people who allow you to fully surrender to your body. Labor and birth can be long and feel like a marathon but there are physiological reasons for that. I will help to guide you and prepare for the stages of labor and delivery. “Birth plans” or preferences are tools I will help you build as they can be important in envisioning how you see your birth. If this is not your first pregnancy and or birth, we will together process previous experiences and reframe them if that is important.

POSTPARTUM

The fourth trimester can be the most difficult with no preparation or guidance through what changes within your body go through all while navigating caring for a newborn.

My packages include 10+ hours of postpartum hours. This time can be processing the birth, support in newborn care basics like swaddling, sleep, and feeding. It can also be cleaning bottles, changing your sheets, helping draw a bath or shower, and most importantly making sure you nourish and care for yourself. Healing postpartum, like everything, comes in a range and I will be there to prepare you and make sure you are able to prioritize healing.
